About MD Comics
Medical humor for people who know that the chart is never really done.
MD Comics is an independent webcomic about the funny, frustrating, and oddly tender moments that collect around modern medicine.
The Comic
The jokes live in the space between patient care, documentation, hospital rituals, and the tiny absurdities that everybody in healthcare recognizes. The goal is not to explain medicine from a distance. It is to make the day feel a little lighter for the people already in it.
Most comics are short, self-contained, and built to be easy to share with a friend on service, in clinic, or between notes.
The Ideas and Images
The jokes and comic ideas here come from real people: us, friends, and reader submissions. The images are created with the help of AI art tools, which let us turn those ideas into finished comic images. We're not pretending to be traditional illustrators; we just wanted a way to bring funny concepts to life and share them.
What Belongs Here
Workflow comedy, clinical culture, documentation dread, oddly specific patient-care moments, and jokes that are affectionate without punching down.
What Does Not
Private patient details, identifiable real cases, medical advice, or humor built on ridiculing real patients.
